MEADOWLARK FALL WINTER 23

FALL WINTER 23 // NEPTUNE

Sometimes moving boldly forward requires us to go back to our most elemental form. To strip away the layers we’ve accrued in order to view ourselves, and the world around us, in a whole new way. These notions of rebirth, catharsis, and renewal are central to Meadowlark’s latest collection, Neptune, which sees the 17-year-old brand take on a fresh direction that draws from its very own beginnings:

“It’s a reinvention of Meadowlark in a way… of getting back to deep inspiration,” says Meadowlark Creative Director Claire Hammon. “Our design focus was on stepping back and creating a range with a new energy that also feels truest to us and the Meadowlark I am proud of. It’s a moment of personal reflection – things I would like to wear, an element of aspiration and playfulness”.

Named after both the Greek god of the sea and the most distant of the sun’s planets, Neptune is not only a return to Meadowlark’s own genesis, but that of all of us. An abstract study of our universe in all its strange mystery, from the depths of the ocean beneath us to the expanse of the galaxy beyond us. As above, so below.
